On Your Mark, Get Ready...Start Over

Good Morning World.

Well, it seems like forever since I've been here again....and I guess it has.
Not for the typical being lazy reasons this time.

The Mother of my children and the closest friend I have ever had declared she wanted to be free.
Back on June 11 life changed. For the better? For the worse? Can't really say just yet.
No big fight or argument. No accusations.
Just different roads. Seems at the fork in the road, I went left and she went right.
We managed 24 years together (just shy by a month). We had good times and our share of rough spots. We are trying to remain friends and I'm sure we can. We were friends long before we got married. I have, however, begun to notice little changes since it became official. Nothing glaring or outward noticeable. Just minor changes in attitude and the lack of conversations.

At any rate, that is the reason I have not been active on blogger. That and the fact that I had no internet connection - she took care of that and it was disconnected. I have it turned on again and will be posting regularly (as much as I normally do).

I have been working on my art. Not nearly as much as I would have liked to. But it's truly been hard to concentrate on much of anything. Due to that fact, I will not be posting any pictures today. I promise they are forthcoming though.

I am currently neck deep in my Halloween contribution for this year. I am very pleased with the progress so far. I have set a deadline for this coming week to have it finished and then I will share it with you all.

I hope that you all have been well and I look forward to chatting with everyone again.

until then...
Be Good, Be Safe, Be Happy!!

  1. Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.......always sad when it happens. The last two years since I lost Bob, has taught me that it is possible to forge a new path without the very person you think you can't live without..........You're right - it's different, but even in some ways better. All the best, my friend.

sorry for the long delay...I guess I figured if I ignored it I wouldn't have to acknowledge it. :)
